My work experience with RA Smith Paving Contractors has been phenomenal. I was asked to oversee this work for Mr. Wayne Edgeworth while he was on vacation.
Wayne explained the scope of the work to be performed which was to fill and pave areas that had been excavated for the 6&7 scrubber project. All areas were marked off to ensure each excavation area was filled and covered to address safety issues surrounding this work. Upon Wayne’s return to work the job was inspected and the results were more than pleasing.
This work was completed within the time frame of approximately 2 weeks and was originally estimated to last at least 3 weeks. I conducted the Site Specific Orientation for this group before work began and was most impressed by Mr. Smith’s concern that his employees understood and
followed all safety standards here at Plant Yates. RA Smith Paving Contractors have completed an additional job which was paving the 6&7 parking lot. This job was estimated to take 3 days and was completed in 2 days and the same quality of work was duplicated. There will be other projects following. I highly recommend this group for work at other plant sites.

Mr. Smith has done an outstanding job on this project. RAS worked diligently and professionally under difficult conditions to complete the pavement replacement in a timely and high-quality manner.
